About Ruby on Rails Developer Position

We are looking for talented software developers to join our team to develop software for the UK travel industry.

Responsibilities

As the Ruby On Rails Developer, you will be responsible for:

• Work with the project lead, take assignments, and do effort estimation.
• Participate in designing the framework from scratch.
• Code, test, and review the code of other members.

Requirements

• Require at least 5 years of experience working as a Ruby on Rails Developer.
• Basic to intermediate understanding of front-end languages and technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and CSS compilers (Sass and LESS).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented development and design patterns.
• Good understanding of how to consume and create with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of change control systems, specifically Git.
• Experience in AWS, deploying applications in docker containers, Aurora database
• Good experience with OO design and design patterns
• Experience with software development principles such as SOLID, DRY
• Fluent communication in English.
